Year 4! I can’t believe this is the fourth year I’ve been doing these awards. And this year I stepped it up a notch and made things a little more visually pleasing. I hope you all enjoyed the nominee videos I made. If you missed them, you can check them out on the nominees page or you can head to our youtube! 2021 was a year filled with a lot of new music and a lot of new artists. I believe it was the hardest year yet. There were a lot of close calls with the winners. I hope you all are excited to see who took first place. Tomorrow X Together

TXT in their short career has achieved some of the most heights rookies dream to reach. From Japanese releases to OST appearances and even an English-only song, 2021 was one of the biggest years for this 4th generation boy group. Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai have cemented themselves as one of the rising K-Pop groups of this present time. Not only are they breaking records by being the second K-pop group to have a Japanese album chart on an American music chart but their third mini album was certified double platinum by the KMCA. Their second studio album, The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, debuted at 5 on the Billboard 200 chart!

Musically these 5 men have been killing it. Not ones to stay in a hole, their album and its repackage had songs that ranged from genres like pop rock to new jack swing. Showcasing how their talents were not a one show pony. On top of their musical achievements, the leader Soobin hosted KBS’ Music Bank for over a year. Every week, showing off various charms and melting the hearts of MOA’s all over the world. With 2021 being their second year since their debut, all we have to do is anticipate more successes in TXT’s future. I for one can not wait for more music. Each title track and b-side has made it into my daily playlists. Not so shabby for BTS’ dongsaeng’s.
