There have been some questionable plots of things I’ve watched or read. I even read a webtoon once about a cat prince turning into a human for this girl. So, when I saw gifs of what I thought would be a cute polyamorous BL, I didn’t really expect it to be about this guy’s pets being reincarnated and somehow becoming kind of his boyfriends. Regardless of its weird and questionable premise, this show had some surprisingly great things to offer.
First, for these rookie actors, they did AMAZINGLY! I was so enthralled with how both Lee Jae Bin and Kim Seong Hyuk took on the roles of Choco and Milk. Jae Bin was everything you would think of a puppy in human form and Seong Hyuk WAS a cat in a previous life, I’m sure of it. I think their performances are what made this actually believable. Even to our main character Jung Woo. There wasn’t a lot of time for him to wonder if this was true. Maybe it if was a longer drama they would have filled it with that, but luckily he just eventually went with it. Also, I loved Ho Jung as Jung Woo. He was adorable and you really wanted to give him a hug ALL the time.
As for the plot? Yeah, there wasn’t much but there were a few trauma sad boy times. We learn that the whole reason for Choco and Milk being there is because Jung Woo is having a hard time dealing with the death in his life. The death of his parents, of both Choco and Milk, and he even went through a breakup. What should have been a trip for these animals to help their previous owner with his grief, turned into this weird love story between Jung Woo and Choco and then even Milk and Jung Woo’s uncle who was also his boss. You really had to check the logic at the door to enjoy this one because if you thought too much about the guys legit being animals, it wouldn’t be fun.
By the end, I was waiting for a HEA and I kinda got it with a jump scare basically. For almost two weeks there was no episode and episode 10 ended very sadly. Luckily the last episode felt like a present for the fans and a little wrapping up of things. Though I can easily see this getting a second season and I will be one of those people wishing for it every day. Come on Strongberry, we need it.

Was gonna say that summary sounds wild but then I remembered I watched Meow, the Secret Boy… I got no room to judge LMAO.
Meow the secret boy could have been wayyyyy better if the acting was better. Sorry L, but I couldn’t deal.
