As y’all have read and figured out by now, I have extreme drama ADHD and like to pick up shiny new dramas from time to time. But in all honesty though, I have been anticipating these two dramas so like I had to watch them. I considered giving each its own post, but then I realized that was extra effort that I’m not with. Hehehe. So let’s have a look shall we.

Thoughts: YASSSSSS!!! My baby Lee Sung Kyung is back in her doctor garb looking sophisticatedly sexy and hot as usual. Jin Seo Woo was better than Yoo Hye Jung debate yo mamma! The way we had to stan a bad bitch. Okay but in all honestly, I was super excited for this drama. I admit that I didn’t finish the first season, but I knew that the concept and idea behind this was a great one regardless so when I heard a second season was coming and that Sung Kyung was the female lead?! I don’t think anyone else could have been any happier than myself. I was nervous that Ahn Hyo Seop was the lead because he hasn’t been the strongest actor in all that I had seen him in tbh. However after watching the two episodes I am blinded by chemistry and therefore, I have never said anything bad about Hyo Seop ever before in my life. He is my best friend. Teacher Kim and the crew are back being absolutely amazing as usual. I love how he is like this asshole and yells at them, but it is all just tough love. I love how Kim Min Jae managed to have more chemistry with the other doctor in a 5 second scene than he did with Seungyeon in all 16 episodes of Flower Crew. The premiere episodes gave us the right amount of tension and romance and my heart fluttered every step of the way. Baekhyun’s OST playing every time Eun Jae and Woo Jin have a scene together!!! The piggy back scene! The coffee scene!! THE CHEMISTRY!!

Nah, but deadass I am already so emotionally invested in our leads that I just know I am in for a hell of a ride when shit hits the fan. I want everyone to be happy. Found families are my weakness. I also liked how they not so subtly addressed the former leads and saying not to expect any cameos! Still I guess for the fans of season one it would be nice for a quick name drop every now and then? HOWEVER, let me reiterate that I didn’t watch so I personally don’t care.
Recommendation: If you’re into medical dramas, workplace found families and want to forget Lee Sung Kyung acted in About Time.

Thoughts: I haven’t watched a good modern fantasy cdrama in a long time. Naturally I had to check this out even if people were comparing it to…G..G..Goblin *barfs* Fortunately, I decided to give it a chance anyways and I am so glad I did. Compared to the last round of modern fantasy cdramas that I have tried this one is actually very entertaining. The male lead is your typical tsundere type and the female lead is the eccentric girl who can somehow thaw his cold exterior. The thing that doesn’t make this feel very repetitive is the whole concept behind the story as well as the performances of our leads. I find the male lead to very obviously lack enough sense to put two and two together, but he is still thoughtful and smart when it benefits him. I also find the female lead to be annoying but like in a cute way. She’s very pretty in some shots and always waking up with a full face of makeup. The chemistry between the two feels very sweet and fragile and it is where I gather this heartwarming feeling that the show brings out. I like the second male lead as well and his no nonsense attitude. I anticipate seeing him with Xiao Xiao because she is actually kinda likable in a weird way.. I guess we’ll see how that goes.. The drama itself is very sweet and stirring so far. It gives me a bit of a Moonshine and Valentine vibe with all the mythology and stuff, but it also doesn’t feel as slow and uneventful as the aforementioned. I think that overall I am super interested in seeing how things play out.
Recommendation: If you’re into Fantasy dramas, aren’t tired of tsundere leads and like staring at pretty people.
