12 Days of Kovid-Mas – Day Eight: Bad Santa

Best Villains

According to google, a villian (in a film, novel, or play) is a character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot. Nothing gets us more frustrated than watching a Korean drama and seeing a truly devious character. Here are our picks for villains who truly had us despising them. What are some of your picks?

Note: Lazy Unnie’s picks are in RED and Sugar Baby’s picks are in GREEN.

Seo Moon Jo

Strangers From Hell

I just need to acknowledge that I was a simp for Seo Moon Jo. Listen.. Listen.. He had me y’all. I was like this murdering psychopath could fuck me up any day. In a show like Strangers From Hell, everyone was a villain in their own way. I was stunned by Lee Dong Wook’s acting because I believed him to be every bit the serial killer that he was. Every time he gave that creepy smile I was like shit is about to go down.

The Author

This villain isn’t really someone with a face. Or at least one we know. In Extra-Ordinary You, I felt the biggest villain to all the characters well being was the author of the comic book world they lived in. The unnamed author had full control of each character and put them in situations they once they became aware of, did not like. I mean, they basically erased Haru whenever they felt the need. How heartbreaking.

Jo Wan Tae

This right here is one of my top ten villains. Like I hated him so much to the point where I have yet to forgiven the actor and seeing him in any role literally gives me the creeps. I am always ready to fight. IT IS ON MOTHERFUCKING SIGHT. He was creepy, a murderer, a rapist and all under the guise of it being God’s work. Disgusting. He deserved the death like no man before him. Even though Spiritual Father was equally disgusting, he truly believed in the heavens or whatever. Jo Wan Tae was just evil.

Lee Jun Yeong/Lee Jun Ho

I live for a charismatic villain. And it’s even better when they’re unredeemable. That’s what you get with serial killer Lee Jun Yeong/ Jun Ho in Hello Monster. The show basically was lecture on what makes someone evil. He reminded me of the character Dexter in the sense that you knew he killed people and would probably kill you at some point, but you just kinda wanna hang out with him too.
