Heyyyy! I’m back with another Jdrama. Will I ever watch one that is normal and has a logical storyline? The answer is no. I swore I had found it with this one but like deep down I knew better. I will say though, I have yet to be proven wrong about my idea that all Jdrama heroines are idiots. Seriously if you have one that can prove different, drop it in the comments! This review took me days to write because I realized that I really had nothing to say. Lmfao.
Anyways as far as stories go this one went exactly as you would expect. There was no twists and turns. Just your average Japanese cheating drama turned into workplace romance. The selling point here is that it’s a more mature drama but everyone still acted like immature children anyways. Like you fucking your whole boss but still a bobble head? No discretion to that shit whatsoever? Just fucking all willy nilly in the place your coworkers could enter at any given point? … Okay.
The acting was fine, nothing phenomenal. I will say that I kinda have the urge to watch Coffee and Vanilla now because Sakurada Dori kinda hot, but like I’ll pick that one up after a nice palate cleanse and prepare for the equal parts ridiculousness that it will offer me. The one thing I’m still thoroughly confused about is why it’s called Perfect Crime… I mean it wasn’t really like there was a crime of some sort or anything? Idk y’all tell me in the comments.
Watch it or don’t, it doesn’t matter either way.
