In all honesty, this year has kinda been serving? Maybe it’s because we’ve been getting some reunions from 2nd gen as well as a more explorative sound with 3rd gen? Idk but I have found that it has been hitting and for that we had to stan! If this momentum keeps up then a few of these may not show up at the year end list. Yes this is a month late but I was on a break leave me alone and be grateful.

10. Next Level – Aespa
You have to be of a certain caliber to truly understand and vibe with this song. If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, then sorry to you.
9. Lilac – IU
This is IU’s world and we are just living in it. I can’t tell you how soothing IU’s voice is to me. Just perfection tbh. Jieun, you are THAT woman.
8. ONEUS – Black Mirror
Wow, Oneus making the list two years in a row? That’s peculiar….
7. Kang Daniel – Paranoia
It’s the way I finally see the worth in Mr. Kang Daniel.. He really ate this shit up so much. Congrats on making the list.
6. Brave Girls – Chi Mat Ba Ram
I remember calling Brave Girls one hit wonders, but they shut me right up when they released this song. SONG OF THE MOTHERFUCKING SUMMER.
5. ENHYPEN – Drunk-Dazed
Maybe this is why BTS isn’t making good music? Their hoobaes are taking all the good ones? Idk. All I know is this song puts me in the mood to have a GREAT time.

Everglow are queens and they don’t ever miss. Hit after hit after hit. Imagine having such a flawless run of singles, I know some people are sick to their stomach.

Idk what to tell y’all… I really didn’t see this coming… I am in shock. I guess TXT kinda did that. I can’t explain it, but I think they put crack in this album.

I can’t explain it, but Golden Child has been SERVING me this year. Don’t ask me the name of any member though, I can guarantee that I don’t even know how many members are in this group. LMFAO.

10. SHINee – Heart Attack
SHINee knew why they promoted this alongside the title track and it’s because it is superior. Argue with your momma.
9. CIX – Young
I know they have a particular sound for their title tracks which I enjoy, but I think this would be great style to try for a title release. This song is so addictive to me.
8. Wonho (ft. Kiiara) – Ain’t About You
I just know Wonho caused that whole controversy so he could leave the contract with no problems. I see right through your sexy ass! Ugh he’s just server up food constantly and I am eating it.
7. TWICE – Scandal
Can you believe that Twice had THIS on their EP but gave us Alcohol Free instead? Okay weirdos. Literally every song on the mini is better than the title track they chose. Maybe Dahyun was in her bag for this one.
6. ONF – The Realist
They did what they had to do with this song and this album. I am sick because men are getting way too many rights this year. Disgusting.
5. TXT – Anti-Romantic
I told y’all there is crack in this album.. Did this get stuck in my head like grits because of TikTok? Maybe.. Do I care? Absolutely not. Hahaha.

4. EVERGLOW – DON’T ASK DON’T TELL
As I have stated not once, not twice, but more times than is necessary. EVERGLOW is a group that does not miss. I am so excited to get a FULL album with more than four songs from them. I just know they will devour.

3. Purple Kiss – Hello
We know that RBW is good for vocalists and boy this song shows off the powerhouse tone of their main vocalists. Swan’s voice is literally everything! There is no other KPOP girl that is sounding like her. I am so proud of them and I really can’t wait to see more of them.

2. OH MY GIRL – My doll
I suppose OMG will always make my list one way or the other huh? Why is this just so good? The way their voices compliment each other.. Like I said when I review the album, it feels like a counterpart to Closer.

1. YUQI – Bonnie & Clyde
OHMYGOD. THE WAY YUQI JUST GIVES ME EVERYTHING? Y’all know she is my bias in Gidle because I love her vocal tone so much and to have two songs that were just entirely her voice was everything I ever wanted and needed.
