I have been sitting on this drama for so long, never quite finding the time to watch this until recently. I have always enjoyed both our leads and I really don’t know why it took me so long especially since I had heard so many good things. The funny thing was that once I started this drama, I couldn’t really stop watching it.. until a certain part that is. It comes down to the fact that there were things I liked and things I didn’t like with this one. Did the good outweigh the bad in the end? Let’s see…
Things I liked: This drama was surprisingly quite easy to watch and digest for the most part. I enjoyed the premise and as someone who has been interested in AI for a long time, I couldn’t help but stan the mom for being such an excellent robotics engineer. What I enjoyed the most was definitely Seo Kang Joon as both Nam Shins. He DEVOURED this role and it is a little sick that he has been in so few dramas overall. I get being picky with projects, but come on! I loved him so much so that he is probably why I am ending this drama with a positive experience. I also enjoyed the chemistry between him and Seungyeon even though it wasn’t of the explosive off the charts time. Sometimes you do need something that is a little comforting.
What I didn’t like: After a while this drama became a drag. I can only care about the chaebol politics for so long. This is unfortunate to say, but the turn it took once the real Nam Shin woke up was just so exhausting and makjang like. I also didn’t like the relationship which has really nothing to do with the story, but rather me and my personal issues. I just don’t really see the feasibility of this relationship. How does the sex work? He will never actually love her and what was up with that weird tear in the ending? I think a drama like this didn’t need and implied ‘happy ending’ like that.
All in all, I did enjoy this one and I would definitely recommend; The good outweighed the bad. I wish Seo Kang Joon all the best when he returns from doing his military service!

Story: 7/10
Acting: 8/10
Music: 7/10
Rewatch Value: 5/10
Overall: 7.5/10

I put off this show for so long because I thought it would be stupid based on the synopsis. I’m so glad I watched it! Yes, I agree Seo Kang Joon is an amazing actor. His face even looked different when he was switching from robot to human.
