You know me.. When I am in a drama funk, I gotta go all over and watch a bunch of this. This came onto my radar because I was watching F4:Thailand and stumbled down a rabbit hole of Thai actors once more. I recognized Toy and a bunch of other girls in this season, so I thought why not give it a go. Seemed like a cool enough concept.

The first story in the series centers on Sundae and Tankhun’s love story.. Now, I am not usually one for second chance romances or obvious love triangles in plot summaries, but in this case I allowed it simply because I find Toy to be more attractive than Fluke. Yeah, I am basic we already know this. Anyways, I didn’t really have a problem with this story as I found it to be very typical and easily digestible. The first half of the drama was a bit lighter than the second half and I know the complaint seems to be that the things that happened came out of nowhere, but I disagree and feel like there were a few very subtle signs along the way. I disliked Sundae’s family for the most part, but I really enjoyed Tankhun’s family.

As for the romance, like I said, I didn’t really have a problem with her going back to Tankhun, but what I did have a problem with was how they had to make Mile a jerk all of sudden to make it easier for her to go be with Tankhun. Writers, it is okay to have your female lead choose the ‘lesser’ guy, I promise you it is better than giving the second male lead a personality transplant in the end. As far as acting goes, I thought that everyone did a good enough job. There were no glaring holes which meant that everyone was more or less on the same page.

Overall, this did make me want to watch the other parts in the series so look forward to my reviews on them. I recommend this as something easy to get through. I wonder which will be my favorite… Stay tuned!
