MYDRAMALIST

Thoughts: Oh wow. This actually surprised me! Like obviously I was going to watch because Chae Jong Hyeop is my husband and I must give him streams to feed our children. However, I didn’t expect to be so immediately invested and so infatuated with it already! It’s only been two episodes! I am loving the energy of the cast and the way these characters are being played. I’m eager to know the real reason why Taeyang left and what’s the whole tea with Junyoung and Jung Hwang. Speaking of Jung Hwang, I love that he’s being seen as some arrogant pos but he’s really just going through his own trauma. I cackled at the scene with the Yoomin, “if she is your daughter, why is she so pretty?” and I think that their dynamic will be so fun to see. The last time I saw Soo Hyang was in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and it felt kismet to see her here since I would say it’s the kinda vibe that I’m feeling overall with this drama. I really enjoy the easy chemistry between our leads. Like the way I was sold the second they had the sprinkler scene. Yeah yeah yeah sign me tf up. Wtf!! Even the bromances I think will be really good. I’m putting good faith in this one cause I really haven’t felt like this in a long time. I know this happy feeling won’t last forever, but I’m here for the ride.

Recommendations: If you’re into sports dramas, enjoy goofy male leads and a soft chemistry.
