Hit It or Skip It – April 2022 Week 4

I feel like I blinked and we’re at the end of the month. Sugar Baby said to me that I have all the music this week and I think she’s right.

VERIVERY “Undercover”

Almost didn’t even recognize them. The song is a much more mature sound for the group. I like it.

MONSTA X “LOVE”

There are better songs on the mini but the jazz elements save this.

SOYOU “Business (Feat. BE’O)”

Being able to sing gets your far. Chill song.

ICHILLIN’ “Play Hide & Seek”

Surprisingly not a bad song. I liked the rap part too. It’s cute.

Moon Byul “C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)”

Feels very Avril vibes and it fits her. I like this a lot.

Mirani “Gasoline”

Hella autotuned but that’s nothing different.

PSY “That That (prod. & feat. Suga)

He ate this. It’s fun and addicting to listen to.

Kang Daniel “Read to Ride”

I love this. It’s groovy and Mr. Kang Daniel is really coming into his own.

Huh! “Come Upright (Prod. Viann)”

Electro pop mixed with k-hip-hop with Huh! and his cool tone make for a great song.

Miyeon “Drive”

Would have been better with a better singer like Taeyeon or Wendy

E’LAST “Creature”

I sadly forgot it the moment it stopped.

Yoon Jisung “BLOOM”

Sounds like a bad 80’s commercial jingle.

BUSTERS “FUTT”

An annoying version of a STAYC song.

DKB “SOBER”

This felt like a weird mashup. I don’t know where they were going with the song.
