Lazy Unnie

Shortly after Jae Chan moves in across the street from Hong Joo, he dreams that she gets into a car accident. Unable to shake the feeling that the dream would come to fruition, he stops the accident by crashing his new car into hers. Hong Joo trusts that he acted out of good faith because she can predict unfortunate events through her dreams as well. As a rookie prosecutor, Jung Jae Chan will do anything to prevent these dreams from occurring.

While You Were Sleeping…  This is not my top drama by any means. But this is a drama that has everything. From romance to drama, mystery to comedy, and it even made me not want to smack Suzy. With the slight supernatural aspect, it can appeal to anyone. Plus it introduced me fully to the amazingness that is Jung Hae In.

Sugar Baby Unnie

Sang Mi (Seo Ye-ji ) and her family move to Muji-gun, where she has no friends or relatives. There she meets four young men, Han Sang Hwan (Ok Taec-yeon), Seok Dong Cheol (Woo Do-hwan), Woo Jung Hoon (Lee David), and Choi Man Hee (Ha Hwa-jung). When Sang Mi and her family face some trouble, Spiritual Father Baek Jung Ki (Jo Sung-ha) of Goosunwon offers to help them. However, her family is slowly getting sucked into the psuedo-religious cult and the four young men try to help her.

Save Me… It has been two years and I am still thinking about this drama. I actually think I may start a rewatch of this. I know you’re probably thinking to yourself, “What? Sugar baby didn’t choose Coffee Prince?” Ha! In your face fuckers!! I was trying not to be too predictable. I would recommend Save Me because it is truly unlike many other kdramas that I have watched and I have watched a lot (shameless plugging but hmu on mydramalist!) Save Me was my first time seeing a Korean drama tackling the issue of a religious cult. I had no expectations when I first sat down to watch this drama beyond the thought that Taecyeon better look hot. This drama is not for the faint of heart. It isn’t a walk in the park. It is grimy, dirty and extremely dark. It made me squirm, scream, and downright disgusted. There’s allegedly a second season coming out with different leads, but a similar plot.. I will definitely watch at least the first few episodes.
