My underrated queens are back and once again you guys don’t know what you’re missing. Miya, Seokyoung, Seoryoung, Anne, Minju and Lena (get well Soso!) are back after finishing up their debut series The Park in the Night and got the keys for us. I have faith that it will be as good as their last releases even with a member down.
BAZOOKA! – Title Track
Fun. That is the first word that comes to mind when I hear this track. It actually gives me a bit of a Pristin vibe (RIP Pristin). It’s on brand with the sound that they have established with their other tracks. It’s dance pop with a touch of 80/90’s club music. Now the video is super girl crush and by that I mean I might throw it all away for my girl Miya. I’m living for her longer bob. All the members look amazing and hold their own.
the Aerialist (Wonderboy)
I was NOT expecting this kind of song from these Girls (in the park lol). This is more in the Red Velvet house. Either way I am HERE for this jazzy music with sweet vocals on top. Not too slow to be a ballad but just enough uptempo to make me want to dance alone in my room.
Tweaks ~ Heavy cloud but no rain
Speaking of dancing alone in my room… YAS BITCH! This is THE anthem! When I said they had mastered that retro but house sound, this is what I was talking about. It has me making a runway and walking the house down hunty! LOL enough of that but still, it’s a bop and reminds me of my childhood. (My mom was a DJ on the side so I grew up with club taste.)
After the Bloom (Alone)
The closest thing to a ballad I guess we’ll get this EP? Either way I don’t know what it is about this song but I like it. It kind of has a Latin flare but not overly so. Or maybe it’s about saying buh bye and being by yourself and not in a relationship. Forever mood.

So since the world is basically locking down GWSN did a quarantine self cam version of BAZOOKA and it’s the cutest shit ever!!! Watch!
FINAL THOUGHTS
I don’t mean to be biased but let me be a little biased; this was their best EP as a whole. Are any of the songs as good as Puzzle Moon in my opinion? Nope. But as a whole all the songs all complemented each other and made a cohesive EP which is really rare these days. I see this EP as if GWSN put together a mini clothing line and each outfit lead into one that was on brand with the last. GWSN has a sound and even though they’re still underrated, I think that they shouldn’t change it.
